In
this post, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Miyuki Hiraoka. Please call
me Miyuki. I am from Okayama prefecture in Japan. I am freshman of University
Of Shimane. I major in social politics. I learn politics, economics, English
and so on in my university.
I’d
like to talk about my hobby. My hobby is listening to music and playing
volleyball. My favorite singers are BUNP OF CHICKEN, RADWIMPS, and Taylor
Swift. Listening to music makes me relaxed and happy. I have played volleyball
for 7years. I’m attacker. I join volleyball team in my university. I play it 3
times per week now. I enjoy playing it every time!
I
have studied English since I was 8 years old. I want to go to many foreign
countries and work for people in the world. I went to Monterey in America in
this summer. It was the first time for me to visit foreign country. I learned
many things, e.g., the importance of cross-cultural understanding. I found I
have to study English hard more. I want to communicate with foreigners more
frequently in the next time, so I’d like to challenge speak and write English
in my ordinary life.
Let’s
exchange our culture! Nice to meet you!J
Hi Miyuki,
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you. You have such nice hobbies. I also love listening to music and playing volleyball. However, I'm not that great at playing volleyball. LOL. Taylor Swift is very popular in North America. Lots of young girls see her as an idol. Come to Canada next time! I'd be glad to show you around and hopefully you'll learn even more English and more about Canadian culture!
Hi Jonchew,
DeleteNice to meet you, too! A lot of my friends also like Taylar Swift. However, it is difficult to sing an English song. I want to sing her song.
I'd like to go to your country! I want to know nice things about Canada.
Hi Miyuki!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to meet you! My name is Juliana and I also agree on the importance of cross-cultural understanding. Originally, I am from Colombia in South America, so I'm always trying to understand Canadian culture (though is not so different, haha).
Wow, you play volleyball a lot! You must be really good. I am really bad at volleyball, so I don't really play it that much. I'm always afraid of the ball ><
Hi Juliana,
DeleteNice to meet you, too! I think your mind is good. You know, Japan is an island country, so I interested in cross-cultual understanding between a country and next to the country.
Volleyball is team play. I like this point of volleyball. You will be good at volleyball, if you play it more:)
