My hometown
In this post, I would like to introduce my
hometown. My hometown is Fukiya, Takahashi city, Okayama prefecture in Japan.
My hometown is very plural, but there is very nice place. I’d like to tell you
about the reason.
Fukiya is famous for many beautiful red
houses. In the old days, Fukiya prospered by selling red ocher, so houses which
are in Fukiya are colored with red ocher. Red houses are very beautiful and
precious, so my hometown is specified cultural assets of Okayama prefecture.

Also, Fukiya has famous elementary
school. The school is made of wood. The school has lived for over 100 years. The
school is also specified cultural assets of Okayama prefecture. The school is
beautiful. I like this very much, because I am able to feel warmth of nature. My
grandfather, mother, and I went to this school. We want to precious this school
from now on.

People in my hometown make effort to
welcome tourist, because they want them to know our wonderful cultural assets. They
held many event and welcome many tourists. Sometimes I help them. I want to
precious my hometown with people in my town.
I really like the pictures of your hometown, Miyuki! It's really a 100-year-old school? That's very interesting. Someday I would love to live in a beautiful, red house. What else is there to do in your city? :)

These days, cycling is popurar in my town.
I also love nature, so I think studying in that school must have been very nice! I admire the fact that you are trying to preserve it, it is indeed a precious place!
